Jeremy B. Hill is the Founder and Managing Partner of JB Capital. He brings more than 23 years of experience and leads the firm's efforts across lending, investment, and advisory; a platform that has now closed more than $3 billion in transaction and advisory outcomes. Jeremy raises capital, manages the firm's institutional balance sheet and credit partner relationships, and sets the direction for the firm's investment and credit parameters.

A recognized expert in private markets, Jeremy has served as a principal investor, lender, and senior advisor to growth-stage companies, sponsors, developers, investors, and leading families across multiple market cycles. He is sought for judgment and expertise where his involvement is what changes outcomes.

He has advised on transactions across sectors, holds board seats with several growth stage companies, and has been a featured contributor to CNBC and Bloomberg on private credit and the middle market. Jeremy lives in Paradise Valley, Arizona, with his wife of 30 years and their three children.

Barney Guy is Managing Director and co-founder of JB Capital Real Estate Partners, where he brings capital markets and structuring expertise to development lending for builders, developers, and investors. He has more than 30 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate credit.

Barney has co-founded two firms taken from start-up to profitability through initial public offering, in the US and the United Kingdom, and has managed, securitized, financed, and sold $30 billion in mortgage-related assets over his career. Earlier, he held capital markets leadership roles at MILA, a top-15 mortgage origination and servicing platform, and co-founded HomeLoan.com, an early leader in digital retail mortgage banking, along with Southern Pacific Lending, Southern Pacific Mortgage, and Southern Pacific Capital Management — among the firms that built the non-conforming mortgage industry.

Barney holds an MBA from the University of Redlands and a B.A. from California State University, Fullerton.

Joshua Hill leads JB Capital's real estate lending arm, directing originations and underwriting across the firm's senior and preferred equity platform. He has originated more than $750 million in senior and preferred financing spanning residential, office, retail, senior living, and student housing.

Joshua structures and executes senior construction loans from $1–15MM for luxury single-family and select multifamily projects, up to $20–70MM for build-to-rent, multifamily, hospitality, and student housing developments, with capacity beyond $100MM on marquee assets. He reviews and underwrites every deal personally, with a working fluency in construction risk that shapes capital around how a project gets built, not how it looks on paper.

Before returning to JB Capital, Joshua spent a year in real estate private equity, helping raise $85 million in preferred equity and managing investor relations across a network of RIAs, wealth managers, and family offices.

Joshua holds a B.S. in Finance from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, where he transferred after playing college soccer at Whitworth University. He remains active in the ASU alumni network and endowment, and is a regular voice on LinkedIn covering real estate credit and capital markets.
